IN 1828 BEGAN TO TEACH MINISTERIAL STUDENTS.
THE EATONTON BAPTIST CHURCH OFFERING TO PAY
THE STUDENTS [SIC] BOARD. THUS BEGAN MINISTERIAL
EDUCATION THAT INSPIRED THE FOUNDING OF
MERCER UNIVERSITY.
