Side 1:
From Civil War to Civil Rights and new visions for tomorrow, Montgomery is steeped in history, tested by rebellion and always courageous and changing. A number of downtown must-sees include the historic State Capitol, the Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church and Parsonage Museum, the Rosa Parks Museum, the First White House of the Confederacy, the Hank Williams Museum, Old Alabama Town, the Civil Rights Memorial Center and the Alabama Department of Archives and History. These historic places that represent historic measures have lead to new beginnings in downtown Montgomery.

Side 2:
The addition of the city’s new riverboat, the Harriott II, and luxury loft apartments aren’t the only sites that score big. Montgomery is home to Biscuits Baseball, a champion minor league team. Downtown is also proud of a state-of-the-art convention center and performing arts center. Whether you have a drink inside The Alley, Montgomery’s new entertainment district featuring unique restaurants, bars, and retail shops or stroll along the banks of the Alabama River, this downtown will fill your soul with the spirit of Montgomery’s past, present and future.
