Side 1:
The Town of Priceville incorporated in April of 1975, though its earliest settlers migrated to the foot of Priceville Mountain just after the War of 1812. The community was rich farm land once owned by the Price family, for whom the Town was named. Approximately 350 people resided in Priceville at the time of incorporation compared to over 2500 in 2008. The Town of Priceville known as the "Crossroads of North Alabama" is one of the fastest growing municipalities in Alabama rich in history and prospects for the future. The flat river bottoms developing into rolling plains and wooded mountains at the foothills of the beautiful Appalachian chain provide perfect home sites. The back waters and sloughs of the Tennessee River provide plenty of fish and waterfowl which make it truly a nature lover's paradise.



Side 2:
Veterans Park was formed by the Town Council on September 18, 1985 and dedicated at Priceville's Alabama Reunion Ceremonies on September 30, 1989. The park is a vital community gathering place for a variety of activities throughout the year. Priceville, a community with much to offer, Patriotism, Education, Recreation and is dedicated to preserving its heritage and family values.
