Trading post replica 3 blocks west. Built during British era. Wm. Panton was granted immunity by Spaniards after British defeat due to importance of trading post. Alexander McGillivray´s (Scot-Creek) connections with Indian tribes of the entire SE, made this the largest trading post in the south, with factors in Mobile, Havana, Savannah and many other locations made Panton America´s first millionaire.
